I am reinstalling everything following a laptop crash. I used to have:

MPLABX 1.10
C30 v3.31
EmBlocks IDE v1.30 Now I found that it looks like MPLABX requires a new toolchain for PIC24, the XC16 compiler...
What's the deal here?
